Today our grade 4 class became Super Digital Citizens with the interactive Nearpod lesson by Common Sense Media called ‘Super Digital Citizens.’  Our students made the OJCS proud by showing what kind and compassionate upstanders they would be in the face of cyberbullying.

An upstander is someone who speaks or acts in support of someone being bullied online.

This class in particular have been having Digital Citizenship workshops since they were in grade 1 and their responses show just how much that pays off.  They have proven that they understand the importance of being kind and responsible online, and that they are aware of what choices are the right ones to make.
